BLACK AND WHITE WITH A HINT OF PINK
It's hard to pull off an outfit that feels sophisticated and genuinely fun at the same time! A great way to nail it I thought, is by adding a little fringe to this classy look.
The fringe trend has been everywhere and inescapable. But outside runways and fancy social / fashion parties, is it really practical to sport?? Well , i totally think it is!
I got this fringe wrap skirt from reformation last summer thinking i would never be able to wear it , but just bought it to satisfy my urge to try every new trend out there. To my surprise i ended up wearing it on every vacation i pretty much was on last year ( here is how i wore it with a more casual tee , and here as a cover up for my swimsuit ). The key is to not feel overwhelmed by the fringe but to embrace it. Yes, It does feel a little daring but for a fun video like this , its worth the risk.
Having worn it the casual / beachy way a few times , i thought i'l do more classy this time. which is why i paired it with a plain white shirt and snakeskin heels. I added a pink fur clutch to bring more color.
Our Tip: Not feeling so daring ? Don't want to go all out and wear a fringe skirt / jacket? Sport the trend in a more subtle way by adding a fringe bag or or a fringe heel. Trust me its worth the risk and so much fun.
